Nature+ Philippines

Empowering Communities, Restoring Nature

About Us

Nature+ Philippines is a non-governmental organization dedicated to environmental conservation, community empowerment, and sustainable development. We believe in the power of nature-based solutions to address climate change, restore ecosystems, and uplift local communities across the Philippines. We are a science-driven, people-centered non-government organization delivering nature-based solutions for biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods across the Philippines.

The Foundation was established in response to the accelerating degradation of forests, watersheds, rivers, reefs, and coastal ecosystems, which threatens food security, livelihoods, public health, and climate resilience of millions of Filipinos. The Philippines is one of the world's most biologically diverse countries, yet also among the most environmentally vulnerable due to deforestation, biodiversity loss, coastal degradation, and climate change impacts.

NATURE+ PH exists to bridge science, community leadership, and policy into practical solutions that protect ecosystems while strengthening human well-being.

Our Mission

  • Promote nature-based solutions for climate resilience and biodiversity.
  • Empower local communities through education, capacity building, and livelihood programs.
  • Restore and protect forests, watersheds, and coastal ecosystems.
  • Foster partnerships for sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

Our Vision

A Philippines where people and nature thrive together, with resilient communities and healthy ecosystems for generations to come.
